Love My Dress features A Handmade Wedding

I've been feeling quite popular this month! Last week I was Laura Ashley's blogger of the month (oh yes I was) and today our handmade rustic wedding was been featured on Love my dress! What is Love my dress? it's the largest, most widely read, multi-award winning wedding blog in the UK and world ... and today they featured our wedding! Here's a quick glimpse ...

Awww I want to do it all over again!

I'm really chuffed about this, because in the lead up to our wedding I followed Love my dress, and found a lot of inspiration on there myself. So I was really happy to share our wedding and pay it forward - in the hope that our ideas might just help, and inspire some other crafty brides.

Bridal preparations ... that's me making my headdress the morning of the wedding. Brave ey?

Kate Tetlow; a features writer from  LMD did a fabulous job of putting it all together. In fact I got a little misty-eyed looking through all the lovely photographs again! (all of which were taken by the very lovely Binky Nixon & Sally Forder.) So if you'd like to read the full feature, and cast your eye over some previously unseen pics from our big day please click the link below.

  1. Oh my, Jodie!!!! The dress! The cute hubby!! The flowers!! The decorations!!! The gorgeous bride!! It is all soooo perfect! Thank you for sharing your special day. All the details are so perfect! I love the cute little signs indicating where to go for food, drinks, etc. Too cute! You looked breathtaking! What a brilliant idea to use the antique bedspread for your dress...it turned out so lovely! And the wreath in your hair could not have been more perfect with that dress! What a special day to look back on and know it was totally YOU!
