Well as I told you earlier this week, it's our 1st Wedding anniversary on the 14th May * still beaming * so we're OFF of holiday!! We're both in dire need of a break so we're packing up our sombreros, flip flops, bikini, sun crea .... NOPE sorry, wrong holiday ... we're packing up our walking books, books, craft basket and dog, and heading to the lush green hills of SHROPSHIRE!

As much as I loved our holiday in Thailand (and I really did love it) I love our cottage holidays in this country JUST as much (I can tell you don't believe me but it's true, brownies honour!) Our process is always the same - find a lovely old cottage in the middle of nowhere surrounded by woods and countryside. Phones and internet are switched off for entire duration and we simply relax, walk, eat cake, relax, walk, get lost, paddle, walk, relax, eat cake ....

I better get packing now - and if you're a robber reading this, Miggin's from next door is keeping an eye on the place so for your own sake - it's just not worth it! Do pray for some sun for us poppets, though even if it rains we'll have fun ... what wise soul said "there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad choice of clothing?!

Hi Jodie, Have fun on your anniversary! Ours is on 14th May too! be 4 years this year. We are going to Cornwall with Lulu in August ,and can't wait she loves the beach. xx
