Hey peeps. Ok so I'm visiting family this weekend and a trillion kids will want eggs. So I came up with a cheap, super quick way of giving everyone a treat whilst making a nice table display at the same time. I made two of these for two families, it took 10 minutes and cost £7.
All you need is ...
Shredded brown paper - Often comes as padding in parcels!
otherwise can be found in stationary shops and post offices.
Small chocccy eggs (these are sainsburys)
Optional sprigs of greenery / flower heads from garden
Speckled fake eggs
What to do ...
All I did was shape a quick nest then stick some twigs, green foliage and a few flower heads in it. I'd bought some little speckled eggs a few weeks back, to use in my Mothers day flower arrangement so I popped those in too.
Happy Easter poppets,
JM x
"Err where's mine??" ... though please note, Ralphy did not consume any choccy, it's poisonous for doggies! |
